Who We Are
We are a passionate husband and wife team originally from London, now based in Wiltshire. Our mission is to rescue and revitalise unique vintage and up-cycled furniture and home decor items.

Our Story
My husband owns a removals and clearance business, which provides us with many of the items we rescue. I work in consulting but love dedicating my weekends to revitalizing salvaged treasures—using a creative and hands-on approach.

Why We Started
Our journey began with small projects for our new home, rescuing items that weren't donated to charity during house clearances. Seeing discarded treasures turn to firewood was heartbreaking. Inspired by positive feedback and interest from friends and customers, we began offering these rescued items for sale.

What We Do
Most of our inventory comes from house clearances, including vintage furniture and reclaimed home decor. Some pieces are upcycled and customized to give them a new life, while others are beautifully restored vintage furniture ready to find a new home.

Our Mission
To reduce waste by rescuing, restoring, and selling beautifully unique furniture and decor, helping you create a sustainable and stylish home.

Maybe once part of a pair of bedside tables, this is in really good condition and has good proportions to be versatile in your home.

Originally oak underneath, the industrial look and feel has been transformed with grey paint and a gold leaf, with gold painted features.

We did not manage to decode the markings underneath - maybe you can?

FOR SALE:
This is early 20th century, and our research tells us it is from Hong Kong.
The joints are made by cutting into the bamboo in a woven manner, it's a really unusual way to design and looks great.

It has cleaned up well; there is some damage to the bamboo (last picture), but it's not falling off, and it does not make the side unstable; it just moves when pressed as the bamboo is hollow.
It can be used as a stool or a side table.

These are not identical twins, but a sisters as as they are slightly different in the design on the back but are very similar proportions.

One chair is:
Height: 90cm, Width: 46cm, Depth: 38cm

The other is:
Height: 89cm, Width: 46cm, Depth: 36cm

They are aged and both dark wood but in good condition and would look fab together round a kitchen table.

We loved the craftsmanship, size and colour of this little table.
The veneer on top was damaged so we gave it a bit of a facelift with a new cork top.
This look has transformed items in the past and we think it looks terrific on this piece.

Produced in 1999 'La Marie' was the first completely transparent chair in the world, made of polycarbonate in a single mould.
Both classic and contemporary (featured in many design collections), they have 'La Marie by Starck for Kartell, Made in Italy and an arrow pointing to 99 (1999) imprinted on a back panel.

They are in a good used condition with some surface scratches.

The story of the La Marie chair by Philippe Starck is one of innovation, accessibility, and design for the public.

We were struck by the design of this beautiful chair.
Sadly the upholstery was beyond salvage and it needed a bit of TLC so we took the bold decision to add a bit of personality.
The blend of old and new has come together to reimagine this item and it really is rather fun.
The upholstery is a synthetic short piled 'fur' offset by a waxed black paint finish.

First experiment painting upholstery and it came out so well.
Has anyone else tried it?

Teak 'Staples' tea trolley.

Some damage to the base of the trays, so covered in cork to keep it in period and to create an attractive feature.

Trays are removable, so super versatile.
